Heinz Geyer - Managing Director

Heinz launched Private Banking Advisory to fill a demand by some clients of Temple Associates, his Recruitment and Financial Markets Consulting Business. These clients - usually family offices or investors with substantial investment holdings - needed input from a disinterested adviser that could provide a holistic approach to the problems that they faced in their private investment or family offices.

Heinz is an Austrian Citizen who has worked in various positions in Vienna, Zurich, New York and London with Goldman Sachs, Smith Barney, Bank Austria and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

After having been bitten by the Stock Market Bug during his High School years he has always worked in the financial markets. His experience includes Sales, Trading, Research as well as Capital-Markets Origination in Bond and Equity Markets.

In 1996 he helped found Temple Associates as a Managing Partner and continues as its Managing Director.

He has graduated in Economics and Banking at the Universities of Vienna and Zurich.

He is fluent in German, English and (rusty) French. He can follow  Swiss German and is working hard on his Italian.

During his years with Goldman Sachs he was the sole author of a widely-read market letter on fixed-interest markets.
